Visit Iceland and bring your own campervan or caravan
A self-drive holiday in Iceland is a good and popular way to explore Iceland and get close to the impressive Icelandic nature. There is so much to be experienced such as glaciers, spurting geysers, waterfalls, northern lights and lava 'deserts'. By bringing your camper you can explore Iceland and do the golden circle in your own campervan. You have the freedom to decide how long you want to drive every day.
We recommend booking well in advance
Space on deck is limited. Often it is sold out in the summer sailing, so it requires that one is quick when it comes to reserving space for large vehicles.
When to travel?
Campsites in Iceland are normally open from the middle of May until the middle of September depending on location.
If you also would like to experience the Faroe Islands with your camper, we strongly recommend that you go in the summer because all campsites in the Faroe Islands are closed outside high season!
